Die Serie "Skin to Skin" entstand aus dem Interesse, Rhabarberhaut fotografisch auf menschlicher Haut zu erkunden.
Sie hinterfragt die alltägliche Wahrnehmung des eigenen organischen Körpers und wie dieser mit seiner organischen

Umgebung in Verbindung tritt. Innerhalb der Fotos verschmelzen Pflanzen- und menschliche Haut zu abstrakten, sinnlichen Bildwelten.

Die lebendigen Farben und die Brillanz stehen im Kontrast zur Vorstellung, dass beide Substanzen vergänglich sind und eines Tages

gemeinsam zu Erde werden könnten.

 

The series "Skin to Skin" originated from the interest in photographically exploring rhubarb skin on human skin.

It questions the everyday perception of one's own organic body and how it connects with its organic environment.

Within the photos, plant and human skin merge into abstract, sensual imagery. The vibrant colors and brilliance contrast

with the idea that both substances are perishable and could one day become soil together.
